Champions Renaissance

(Answer at the end).

REASON

By Charles Kocian

Last Saturday on Israel national TV Mr. Netanyahu said that Hamas “will pay an unprecedented price.” He added: “This war will take time and will be difficult.” It happened after a violent Hamas assault who broke through launching thousands of rockets, using motorcycles, pickup trucks, paragliders and speedboats on the seashore and 20 cities and places, killing around 600 citizens and taking hostage hundreds.

In the same day we read in Zerohedge-website https://www.zerohedge.com/political/time-tell-americas-climate-cult-stop  an article called Time To Tell America’s Climate Cult “Stop!” It was written by J.G.Collins via The Epoch Times. He refers to what Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak when he said “there’s nothing ambitious about simply asserting a goal for a short-term headline without being honest with the public about the tough choices and sacrifices involved and without any meaningful democratic debate about how we get there.”  Apparently Prime Minister Sunak, although accepts human activity affects climate change, any action to stop it must avoid any kind of “climate cult”. Cult’s members are irrational and more dangerous than the most of the dangerous apes, aren’t they? Now let’s fly to the Renaissance to see the cults in those times.

Spanish Inquisition.

The Spanish Inquisition, a judicial institution that lasted from 1478 to 1834, although legal, was also a violent irrational cult. In theory, its purpose was to combat heresy, but in practice consolidated the Spanish kingdom to satisfy its rulers. We can read in britannica.com  “Many Jews were killed upon refusal to convert to Christianity. Those who adopted Christian beliefs, the conversos (Spanish for “converted”) still faced suspicion and prejudice. Marranos, Jews who had apparently converted but continued to practice their faith in secret, were considered a major threat to Spanish society.” Can countries or religions become a cult? A cult is based on faith not science or reason. Now let’s travel in time to see how a Christian cult violently murdered Hypatia of Alexandria.

A cult mob killing Hypatia.

Hypatia was murdered in 415 AD in the same times when Alexandria’s Library was burned, for some scholars in 412 AD.  Accordingly to Wikipedia, she was killed “by a violent mob of Christians under the leadership of a lector named Peter, raided Hypatia’s carriage as she was travelling home. They dragged her into a building known as the Kaisarion…. There, the mob stripped Hypatia naked and murdered her using … roof tiles or oyster shells. They tore her body into pieces and dragged her limbs through the town to a place called Cinarion, where they set them on fire. This was the traditional manner in which Alexandrians punished the vilest criminals.”

Charles William Mitchel painting of Hypatia of Alexandria (XIX century).

What was her crime? Hypatia was a prominent thinker who taught philosophy and astronomy, constructing astrolabes and hydrometers. Her death sent shockwaves throughout the entire Roman empire, because philosophers were respected and stayed out of public violence, when civil violence appeared in Roman cities. The infamous murder of a woman philosopher by a Christian mob was a shocking wave that destabilized the philosophical roots of the whole Empire contributing to the end of paganism and rise of Christendom.

CONCLUSION

Since the beginnings of times, rulers has ruled the ruled with force and propaganda. From Stonehenge, Egypt, Bronze age, passing through the Greeks, Romans and the rest of history, from a Darwinian perspective, man is an ape that has showed that has not evolved morally but only technologically, to the extreme to invent more than 12,000 nuclear bombs that can destroy the planet quicker than any climate change. If the Armageddon occurs, ape-rulers will be alive in their bunkers; the ape-ruled, will all be dead. So, only rational rulers, wishing to morally-evolve, with empathy, can build hope for humanity, unless they are wishing to rule AI-robots instead of humans. Perhaps psychopaths’ rulers, wich many of them are, may achieve their dream, but the price will have to pay is that they will never become optimal-rational-animals. Probably their lack of empathy, self-esteem and wisdom will destroy the Earth proving they are far below from what a true Aristocrat should be.
