Champions Renaissance

(Answer at the end).

FOX ME?

By Charles Kocian

This week we knew from BBC senior reporter, Kayla Epstein that “Just after news of a settlement broke, BBC, CNBC, and CNN all carried the Dominion lawyers’ press conference live.” She also said that “Fox News did not show images of the scene outside the Delaware courthouse; instead, footage of its New York headquarters dominated a split screen. As Dominion lawyers declared victory in their case on the other three televisions, Fox News cut to a commercial.

They returned a few minutes later, with a segment on immigration. They have also not published a story about the settlement on the front page of their website, yet.” Voltaire said: “History is the study of the world’s crime”.  But who are the criminals when tyrants rule?

Justice is a controversial topic. For many people is not reliable in US, from JFK assassination to the end of the Gold Standard, to the Tower 7 collapse in 9-11, perhaps even before, 1913 when the FED was created. Whatever a fact is in the material world, it cannot exist or not at the same time. For example, life after death or Santa Claus cannot exist and not exist at the same time, the Earth cannot be still and move at the same time. Universal truths are absolute. In the gender crisis era, if a cat feels a dog, it cannot be a cat and a dog at the same time. To judge a cat as a dog or vice versa is dangerous for logic. Try to think ignoring the law of Identity and logic formulated by Aristotle, is impossible, therefore, without reason, justice is an empty word, a floating concept without percepts.

Galileo condemnation by the Inquisition.

During the Renaissance Galileo had an issue with the Inquisition. His telescope showed him evidence that the Earth was moving. But the dogma and scholars of the Catholic Church said that the Earth was the centre of the Universe, because accordingly to Platonism and holly scriptures, the highest Form: God had created Earth and man in its holly image. Therefore, Galileo’s science, loyal to his senses and Aristotle’s view of reality, was a threat to the power of the Catholic Church, and put its authority in check. They could not allow a telescope to end their power.

The Inquisition sentenced Galileo to life imprisonment at his home. They did not burn him like they did to Giordano Bruno, but the inquisition forced him to retract his scientific discovery. But the last thing Galileo said before dying was “however it moves” referring to the planet Earth.

The Death of Socrates” by Jacques-Louis David. Source image: Art in context.

In ancient Greece the same happened to Socrates. “Justice” condemn one of the greatest thinkers of humanity. Today it is known that he was not guilty and that his sentence was not rational or based on facts.

He was charged of not believing in God and corrupting the youth and was sentenced to death. Socrates fervently argued against breaking any laws and against having willingly committed crimes in the face of his Athenian accusers. Athenian statues and court decisions, agreed with his philosophy on never committing crimes highlights the fact that he was not attempting to practice civil disobedience. Instead of escaping into exile when given some chances, Socrates’ choice was to stay and drink the poison.

CONCLUSION

Justice means to judge; judge, to use our rational faculty: reason. Reason, means to think; we think using concepts. But when concepts are empty, without percepts, not anchored to the physical reality we perceive with our senses, they are just floating concepts. Any conclusion of anybody derived from floating concepts, although logically true, are factually false. This happens when words don’t have precise meanings, when they don’t refer to exact things in the material reality. Of course, any fox in the justice system, overloaded with millions of pages, can use many tricks, especially fallacies.

In today’s hyper-informed society, is better to take distance of the crowd, think for yourself and don be a victim of the Asch Experiment, that we invite you to discover in Google.
