ONE EXCEPTIONAL MIND

THEME

The theme of the novel is: the role of reason in the destiny of man.

PLOT

The plot is about a conflict between heroes and villains. The first, footballers, decide to write a book of objective philosophy to help people think for themselves; the second, a secret society, decide to prevent it because they want to think for the people. To the main one, minor conflicts are added, in football and skydiving; in love, dance and eroticism; historically and politically, in security and hackers; in the 2020 pandemic and the US elections.

PLACE

The events occur in Barcelona, London, Rome and other cities where the European Football Cup is played; in Saint Petersburg and Moscow during the World Cup in Russia; in the mountains of Norway and New Zealand; in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Argentina and Madagascar. They take place in tourist places and airports, stadiums and hotels, restaurants and museums and in helicopters, airplanes and a yacht in the Mediterranean Sea.

DATE

The date of the events is in the years before and after the 2018 Football World Cup in Russia.

INDEX

The work is divided into three acts and one epilogue.

DEATH

Act I, present the characters who face death. The events take place during the European football championship and the preparations for the Football World Cup in Russia. The main conflict, grows; others, are maintained or resolved. It contains 30 chapters.

ARMAGEDDON

In Act II, the conflict reaches its climax in the World Cup final. The events take place between Moscow, New Zealand and Barcelona, and something unexpected is revealed in Norway. It contains 11 chapters.

III

PLANDEMIC

In Act III, the revelation of Norway gives a new meaning to the work, the climax increases at the beginning of the pandemic, and is resolved on the day of the 2020 United States presidential elections, accompanied by a tragedy and a tribute to the best player in the world. It contains 6 chapters.

EPILOGUE

On Christmas Eve 2020, the heroes recapitulate their feat and toast a New Renaissance.

Below, a poem that summarizes the novel.

Ronald and Alexandre were,

two champions of the mind,

great brave heroes they were,

choosing reason everywhere.

Difficult game they played,

when these two philosophized,

but what they never suspected,

was the swamp that they have entered.

It was a poisonous mud,

sticking right into their minds,

and when they wanted to leave,

more and more they sink and sink.

The smartest of the two,

in heroic great manoeuvre,

he decides to fight it to,

looking in a thousand books.

Oh! the book was looking for,

was never written before,

so, in solemn compromise,

by itself decides to write.

But, when he was starting it,

a mafia found it,
